Tokyo, Japan – The Tokyo Tourism Korean Office has unveiled a unique dining experience that combines sightseeing with gourmet cuisine: the "Tokyo Restaurant Bus." This innovative tour allows passengers to enjoy a full-course meal while taking in the sights of Tokyo's most iconic landmarks from a double-decker bus with a retractable roof.
Dining with a View
The bus features a kitchen on the first floor and a dining area on the second, with seating for up to 25 people. The retractable roof allows for open-air dining on pleasant days, offering panoramic views of Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge, Odaiba, and Ginza from a height of three meters. Throughout the tour, passengers will receive commentary on cherry blossom viewing spots and other tourist attractions.
Michelin-Starred Cuisine
The menu is curated by "Ginza Onodera," a Michelin-starred restaurant, and offers a choice of seasonal Japanese or French cuisine. The tour includes both lunch and dinner options, with lunch lasting approximately 2.5 hours and dinner lasting 3 hours.
Cherry Blossom Season Special
From March 20 to April 6, the "Heart-Enriching Cherry Blossom Course" will be available for a limited time. This special course allows passengers to enjoy cherry blossom viewing from the comfort of the bus, away from the crowds, while savoring fine dining and wine.
In addition to the regular 3-hour course, a shorter "Short Plan" option, lasting 1.5 to 2 hours, has been added for those with less time. The cherry blossom season menu will feature seasonal ingredients and include Japanese, Western, and afternoon tea options.
