Arsenal is reportedly pursuing the signing of Atlético Madrid forward Julian Alvarez in the upcoming summer transfer window. According to reports from the Spanish outlet Fichajes, Arsenal is considering acquiring Alvarez to address the void in their frontline, which hampered their contention for major titles during the 2024/25 season.

Alvarez, a 25-year-old born on January 31, 2000, already has Premier League experience under his belt from his time at Manchester City, where he played under Pep Guardiola. During his stint there, Alvarez showcased his prolific goal-scoring ability, often partnering with Erling Haaland in a two-striker formation. Arteta could envision a similar attacking strategy for the upcoming season, potentially deploying Kai Havertz as a target man with Alvarez playing in a deeper role.

In addition to Alvarez, Arsenal is also considering Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres. Sesko reportedly has a release clause of £67 million, while Gyokeres boasts an impressive scoring record of 95 goals in 96 appearances.
