Daejeon, South Korea – The Daejeon Jung-gu Park Golf Association, led by President Oh No-kyun, has announced the formation of a 76-member executive team following an appointment ceremony held on the 14th. The event took place at the International Martial Arts Olympiad conference room in Daejeon.
The newly formed leadership includes:
Honorary President: Park Yong-gap (Member of the National Assembly)
Advisory Group: 4 members
Senior Vice President: Lee Byeong-ryeol (Administrative Affairs)
Vice Presidents: 6 members
Advisory Committee: 8 members, chaired by Lee Bok-hoon
Board of Directors: 18 members, including Oh Guk-hee as Managing Director (Acting Secretary-General)
Field Executives: 36 members, comprising course management director Yang Seung-ho, instructors Park Jong-hyun and Shin Dong-gap, and leaders from 18 clubs.
President Oh No-kyun emphasized the association's commitment to promoting the health and social engagement of Jung-gu's 220,000 residents. He called for the new leadership to set an example, fostering an enjoyable and inclusive environment for all members. Oh also stressed the importance of embodying the principle of "Noblesse oblige" through volunteerism and support for senior and female members.
A key focus for the association is the creation of a second park golf course in a waterfront area, a project that has garnered the full support of its 1,000 members.
