Colombian artist Ela Taubert has emerged as a new star in the Latin music scene after winning the Best New Artist award at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards.

Taubert captivated the world with her performance at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards held in Miami, where she was awarded the prestigious Best New Artist award. In her acceptance speech, she expressed her gratitude to her family, team, and fans, becoming visibly emotional. Notably, she publicly thanked her boyfriend and producer, Kevin, highlighting their strong bond.

During the ceremony, Taubert shared the stage with Joe Jonas for a duet performance of their hit song "¿Cómo pasó?" (How Did That Happen?). The song, available in both Spanish and English versions, garnered enthusiastic applause from the audience thanks to the artists' harmonious vocals.

Taubert is the daughter of renowned Colombian model and actress Erika Taubert. Erika expressed her pride in her daughter's accomplishments, highlighting Ela's continuous growth in the music industry. Ela, in turn, expressed her gratitude to her mother during her acceptance speech, reinforcing the strong bond within their family.

Taubert has garnered a significant following among young audiences with her unique blend of pop rock and electronic music. Her honest and emotional lyrics, coupled with catchy melodies, have resonated with listeners. She has also actively engaged with fans on social media platforms like TikTok, further boosting her popularity.

Following her Latin Grammy win, Taubert has solidified her position as a global star and has amassed a dedicated fanbase. With her debut album scheduled for release in 2025, fans eagerly anticipate her future projects.
