In Jeollanam-do, the Yeonggwang e-Mobility Expo, where you can see the past, present, and future of the e-mobility industry at a glance, will be held in the Yeonggwang Daema Industrial Complex for four days until the 20th at the 'Value that Drives Innovation, Yeonggwang e-Mobility' It was announced that it would be held under the theme of 'Expo'.

At the opening ceremony on the 17th, more than 1,000 people, including Jeonnam Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs Park Chang-hwan, South Jeolla Province Superintendent of Education Kim Dae-jung, Yeonggwang County Mayor Jang Se-il, business representatives and foreign ambassadors to Korea, attended and prayed for the success of the Expo.

More than 150 companies and organizations will participate in the exhibition, showcasing a variety of e-mobility products such as ultra-small electric vehicles, electric two-wheelers, and electric bicycles incorporating new technologies, as well as charging facilities and batteries.

We also operate a theme hall where you can see the past, present, and future of the e-mobility industry at a glance, as well as a discount event (30% to 50% discount on Black Day).

In line with the industrial expo, we run online and offline export consultation sessions with overseas buyers from 20 countries, and hold meetings with foreign ambassadors to Korea from 13 countries, including Serbia, Kenya, and Congo, to develop sales channels and establish overseas networks for e-mobility companies to enter overseas markets. also goes to

An ‘Entrepreneur’s Night’ will be held with over 100 e-mobility entrepreneurs and related organizations, and will be operated as a venue for industry-academia-related cooperation and information sharing.

In addition, along with a test drive experience where you can feel and experience e-mobility, a variety of entertainment activities such as a future talent science festival, autonomous driving/drone experience, and virtual reality (VR) experience were also prepared.

Starting with the e-mobility research center in 2014, Jeollanam-do and Yeonggwang-gun have established an industrial base including an outdoor performance test site, an automobile crash safety verification center, and Korea's largest electromagnetic wave certification center, and are conducting customized research and development in Southeast Asia to enter the rapidly growing Southeast Asian electric two-wheeled vehicle market. We are actively promoting (R·D) business and marketing.

 In addition, along with the E-Mobility Expo, a racing competition in which university students from all over the country participate is held every year to expand the e-mobility cultural industry.

This year, the ‘2024 College Student Self-made Car Contest’ and the ‘2024 College Student Smart E-Mobility Contest’ were successfully held.

Deputy Governor Park Chang-hwan said, “We hope that this Expo will be an opportunity to solidify the status of Jeonnam e-mobility and establish a leading position in the global market,” adding, “Jeonnam e-mobility industry will grow significantly, and glory will be the future mobility.” “We will do our best to make it a major industrial hub,” he said.
