BUFFALO, N.Y. — Food enthusiasts in Western New York will soon have a new dining option as the Rochester-originated fast-casual brand Halal N Out prepares to establish its first storefront in Buffalo.
The expanding franchise has officially secured a 1,400-square-foot commercial space at 1488 Hertel Avenue, a location previously occupied by Hertel Avenue Poutine & Cream. Having successfully grown its footprint from New York City to Rochester four years ago, this latest lease marks another significant milestone in the brand's regional expansion.
Meanwhile, commercial real estate developments continue adjacent to the new restaurant site. According to Dan Bovenzi, a broker representing Legacy Commercial Property, discussions are actively underway with prospective tenants for a larger neighboring property. That adjacent space became vacant following the closure of Steel Leaf Brewing, which shuttered its operations this past February after a two-year run at the location.
