LONG BEACH, CA – The roar of engines is set to echo through the streets of Long Beach once again as the Acura Grand Prix celebrates its golden anniversary this weekend, April 11th-13th. Adding to the excitement, Bank of California has proudly announced its continued role as the official bank of the iconic race for the tenth consecutive year.

Since 2015, the Los Angeles-based financial institution, the largest independent bank in the city and the third-largest headquartered in the state, has been a steadfast supporter of the Grand Prix. This ongoing partnership underscores Bank of California's deep commitment to fostering community spirit and celebrating the vibrant culture of Southern California.

Jared Wolff, CEO of Bank of California, expressed his enthusiasm for the milestone event, stating, "It is an honor to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach and to stand alongside the many individuals who bring this incredible event to life each year. As a leading business bank for California enterprises, we are immensely proud to recognize the decades of success and the significant positive impact this race has had on the Long Beach community."

The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach holds the distinguished title of being North America's longest-running major street circuit race. Beyond the thrill of the race, the Grand Prix Foundation has also made a significant philanthropic impact, donating over $4.2 million to Southern California charities since its establishment in 1991.

Jim Michaelian, the president and CEO of the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach, recently inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame for his extensive contributions to the sport, lauded Bank of California's enduring support. "We are incredibly grateful for Bank of California's consistent and long-term commitment," Michaelian stated. "Their dedication not only elevates the prestige of our event but also empowers us to further serve our community. We extend our sincere thanks to Bank of California and their entire team for their invaluable partnership, and we eagerly anticipate our continued collaboration."
