Samsung Electronics has launched the 'Odyssey 3D (G90XZF)', Korea's first glasses-free 3D gaming monitor, revolutionizing the gaming experience. This innovative monitor allows users to enjoy 3D games without the need for traditional 3D glasses.
The Odyssey 3D features a lenticular lens on the front panel and an 'AI 3D Video Conversion' function that transforms standard 2D images into immersive 3D content. Users can even convert their favorite 2D videos from platforms like YouTube into 3D.
To provide a tailored, high-definition 3D viewing experience, the monitor incorporates 'eye-tracking' and 'screen mapping' technologies that adjust the 3D effect based on the user's eye position. The dedicated 'Reality Hub' software allows gamers to register their games for an enhanced 3D experience.
In addition to its 3D capabilities, the monitor boasts a 4K resolution and supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and G-SYNC, minimizing screen tearing during high-performance gaming. With a 165㎐ refresh rate and a 1ms response time, it ensures smooth and fluid gameplay.
The Odyssey 3D is available for pre-order from March 24th to March 30th, with a retail price of 2.49 million won.
Samsung has also expanded its Odyssey series with the new 'Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF)', available in 27-inch and 32-inch models. These monitors offer 4K resolution and a 240㎐ refresh rate, delivering exceptional picture quality and high contrast.
