The Cheonan Children's Planning Group Plus · 103 Choir has begun preparations for the 103rd Children's Day event this year.

On the 29th, Cheonan City held the 'Children's Planning Group Plus and 103 Choir First Meeting and Practice' in the city hall's grand conference room.

On this day, 27 members of the Children's Planning Group Plus and 103 members of the 103 Choir started planning the Children's Day event and preparing for their performance.

The Children's Planning Group Plus was formed by recruiting children who participated in the Children's Planning Group and wanted to be involved in the operation and promotion of the Children's Day event. Through the first meeting on this day, they selected a children's musical to be presented at the Children's Day event and discussed the activity directions for each team, which are divided into operation, promotion, and recording teams.

Each team will take on roles such as selecting programs proposed by the planning group, planning promotional content, and preparing photo exhibitions, actively participating in the actual event planning process.

In the first practice session of the 103 Choir held on the same day, part-specific practices focused on the choir pieces 'Mischievous Child' and 'Balloon' were conducted.

In the future, they plan to prepare a high-quality performance through two more practice sessions on April 19th and May 4th, and a final rehearsal on the day of the event, May 5th.

Seok Jae-ok, Head of the Children and Childcare Division, said, "The Children's Planning Group Plus and the choir are the planners and main actors of this year's Children's Day event. We will make this activity a model case for child-led participatory events."
