Kim Bo-kyun, Chairman of Chemtronics, has been honored with the 'Korea CEO Award' by the Korea Professional Management Association (CEO Academy).

The Korea CEO Award is an annual accolade presented by the Korea Professional Management Association to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding management performance, based on research into the management philosophy and leadership of domestic professional CEOs.

Chairman Kim was recognized for his contributions to the development of Korean industry through technological innovation and business diversification in various fields, including etching, wireless charging, automotive electronics, and semiconductor materials, built upon 42 years of experience in the chemical materials and electronic components industries.

He successfully listed Chemtronics on the KOSDAQ market in 2007. Since then, Chemtronics has developed proprietary core technologies such as △IT OLED panel etching technology △localization of ultra-high purity PGMEA for semiconductors △core technology for glass substrates based on Through-Glass Via (TGV) processes. In the previous year, Chemtronics was selected as a key partner of Samsung Display in the IT OLED panel etching sector.

In 2024, Chemtronics recorded consolidated sales of KRW 575.2 billion and an operating profit of KRW 37.3 billion. Chairman Kim commented, "Chemtronics will continue to do its best to fulfill its corporate mission by providing differentiated technologies and products that make the lives of customers and society safer and more convenient."
