Hernandarias, Paraguay – Bolivia is sending six of its most talented young golfers to compete in the prestigious South American Junior Golf Championship, held in Hernandarias, Paraguay, from March 20th to 23rd, 2025. This highly anticipated tournament will feature 60 players from 10 South American nations, all vying for victory on the challenging greens of the Parana Country Club.

Bolivia's team comprises a strong mix of seasoned competitors and rising stars. In the female division, Sofia Blanco, Victoria Suarez, and Mara Daher will represent the nation, while the male team includes Vicente Quiroga, Gael Ormachea, and Matias Monasterio. These athletes earned their spots on the national team through their outstanding performances in the 2024 Bolivian Junior National Ranking.

The team is under the expert guidance of coach Alejandro Olmos and team manager Mariano Monasterio, who have been diligently preparing the players for the demanding competition. Notably, Blanco, Suarez, and Quiroga bring valuable experience from their participation in the 2024 Montevideo, Uruguay, tournament, and are expected to showcase significant improvement.

The championship will follow a 72-hole stroke play format over four rounds, with competitions in individual, team, and mixed doubles categories. This comprehensive format will test the players' skills and endurance across a variety of challenges.

The Parana Country Club's picturesque course will provide a stunning backdrop for the tournament, as players demonstrate their honed abilities.

In the previous edition of the championship, Colombia secured the men's team title, and Peru claimed victory in the women's team division. The golfing world now looks forward to seeing how Bolivia's young talents will perform in this year's competition.
