Daejeon, South Korea – Mokwon University's sepaktakraw team has announced their victory at the 22nd National Student Sepaktakraw Championships and the 16th Sepaktakraw Professional League Quad Event, which concluded recently at the Cheorwon Indoor Gymnasium in Cheorwon County, Gangwon Province.

The tournament, hosted by the Korea Sepaktakraw Association, was the final nationwide competition of the year and attracted 32 teams from across the country.

Mokwon University secured the top spot in the university division by defeating Dongshin University with a decisive 2-0 set score in the quad finals. The team showcased impressive offensive power and teamwork throughout the tournament, solidifying their position as the strongest university team in the country.

Jung Yoon-jae, a freshman in the Department of Sports Health Management, expressed his determination, saying, "I will continue to dedicate myself to both my studies and training to achieve even better results."

Coach Baek Yoon-sung commented, "Each player performed their role to the best of their ability, and through teamwork, we were able to achieve this valuable result. We will not be satisfied with this achievement and will continue to prepare to take another step forward and achieve even better results next year."
