On the 11th, K-water (Korea Water Resources Corporation) Gyeonggi Southwestern Regional Headquarters delivered 130 sets of stationery, valued at 2 million won, to the Siheung Multicultural Moms School.
These stationery sets will be used as entrance and graduation gifts for multicultural families and immigrant mother-students attending the Siheung Multicultural Moms School.
The Siheung Multicultural Moms School was established in 2019 to help immigrant mothers directly guide their children's education by learning elementary school curricula.
K-water Gyeonggi Southwestern Regional Headquarters has been consistently carrying out sharing activities for underprivileged communities in the southwestern Gyeonggi region since 2012, through its self-initiated social contribution club called 'Gyeonggi Southwestern Love Association'. The funds for social contribution are raised through voluntary monthly donations from employees.
K-water Gyeonggi Southwestern Regional Headquarters also delivered stationery sets worth 2 million won to the Siheung Multicultural Moms School last year.
Ko Kyung-im, head of the Siheung Family Center, expressed her gratitude, saying, "We are thankful to the employees of K-water Gyeonggi Southwestern Regional Headquarters for participating in donations every year. We will ensure the stationery is used effectively for the mothers' studies."
Tak Se-wan, head of the Gyeonggi Southwestern Regional Headquarters, stated, "As a public enterprise fulfilling its social responsibility, we will continue to engage in social contribution activities to create a happy local community."
