The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (Minister Song Mi-ryung) and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT, President Hong Moon-pyo) participated in the '2025 Summer Fancy Food Show' held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York, USA, from June 29 to July 1. Operating an integrated Korea Pavilion, they achieved significant results, including 487 consultations and 16 on-site MOUs totaling $10.71 million.
Celebrating its 69th year, the 'Summer Fancy Food Show in New York' is North America's largest B2B food trade fair, attracting a large number of food companies and buyers from the United States and around the world. Under the theme "Experience the Future of Food," this year's event highlighted global food trends, showcasing approximately 200,000 products with functionality, sustainability, and innovation from over 2,400 companies.
aT organized an integrated Korea Pavilion with a record 57 K-Food export companies to intensively promote the competitiveness and marketability of K-Food. In particular, rice processed foods such as tteokbokki and various flavors of tteok, as well as plant-based products like vegetable dumplings and functional beverages, garnered high interest from buyers, leading to enthusiastic consultations.
