Joint marketing consumption promotion events by commercial districts featuring cultural performances, 10,000-won coupon benefits, and more

Held on October 23 in Boram-dong, 24 in Dodam-dong, and 31 in the downtown street of Jochiwon

Commercial districts in Sejong Special Self-Governing City (Mayor Cho Sang-ho) are transforming into cultural and experiential spaces for the whole family to enjoy.

The city announced that it will sequentially host the "2026 Commercial District Joint Marketing Consumption Promotion Events" in the commercial areas of Boram-dong, Dodam-dong, and the Jochiwon downtown street on October 23, 24, and 31, respectively.

Selected through a city competition, the three commercial districts will present diverse programs combining unique local characteristics with a wide array of attractions and consumer benefits.

Through this initiative, the city plans to expand citizens' cultural opportunities, boost the vitality of commercial districts, and encourage local consumption.

The first event will take place on October 23 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM around the Boram-dong public parking lot.

Under the theme "Our Neighborhood's Culture Lights Up," the event will feature romantic cultural performances, children's bubble shows, and family magic shows, along with treats like cotton candy and dalgona (Korean sugar candy).

Additionally, a store receipt event will be held, offering a 10,000-won discount coupon to those who make purchases of 50,000 won or more at Boram-dong stores.

Next, on October 24 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the event will be held around the Dodam-dong Clock Tower Square under the theme "Our Food Lights Up."

Alongside family performances, children's experiences, and a tasting event involving 12 stores, visitors dining at Dodam-dong stores will receive a 10,000-won discount coupon, adding to the joy of food.

The Jochiwon downtown street event will be held on October 31 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM around the square in front of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (Nonghyup Bank) branch.

Titled "Everyone to the Jochiwon Downtown Street!" the event will feature vibrant acoustic guitar and youth band performances, a stamp tour across 6 locations, and a receipt refund event.

Even after the event day on October 31, the merchant association plans to continue the stamp tour independently, providing souvenirs to participants.
