Singapore – The cutting-edge superyacht Amels 80, from the globally renowned Dutch yacht builder Damen Yachting, has proudly received the top award in the 60-80 meter superyacht category at the Yacht Style Awards 2025 held in Singapore. The awards ceremony, which took place during the SEA Yachting Conference ahead of the Singapore Yachting Festival, celebrated the most outstanding achievements in the Asian superyacht industry.

Sarah Flavell, Marketing Manager at Damen Yachting, who took to the stage to accept the award, expressed her delight: "We are incredibly honored to receive this prestigious award for the Amels 80 in the 60-80 meter category here in Singapore. This region has become increasingly important to us in recent years, and it means a great deal to see Amels recognized here. Since we introduced this innovative next-generation design, the new 80-meter Amels Limited Editions, in 2022, we have been overwhelmed by the industry and client response. It has been a truly special journey."

The Amels 80 is a testament to the genuine collaboration between esteemed designers and skilled craftsmen, perfectly embodying a blend of performance, sophistication, and enduring quality. It originates from the pioneering exterior design by Espen Øino and the refined interior design by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, complemented by Damen Yachting's meticulous naval architecture. Built by skilled artisans at Damen's Dutch shipyard, the Amels 80 showcases a harmonious fusion of tradition and progressive design.

Anticipated for its official launch in May and scheduled for delivery to its owner this summer, the Amels 80 boasts impressive specifications. With an overall length of 80 meters, a beam of 12.5 meters, and a gross tonnage of 2,175 GT, it offers a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots, accommodating 14 guests and 20 crew members. Furthermore, it incorporates Damen Yachting's advanced naval architecture.

Damen Yachting, the yacht division of Damen Shipyards Group, holds a distinguished reputation for building and refitting top-tier Amels superyachts, Xplorer luxury expedition superyachts, and yacht support vessels. Supported by approximately 500 dedicated yacht-building professionals and hundreds of specialized co-makers, Damen Yachting delivers on its promise of excellence with unparalleled know-how and a relentless commitment to innovation.

Yacht Style Awards: An esteemed awards ceremony hosted by the luxury yachting magazine Yacht Style, recognizing innovation, design, and technical excellence within the Asian superyacht industry. SEA Yachting Conference: A significant conference bringing together key figures in the Asian yachting industry to discuss market trends, technological advancements, and collaboration opportunities. Singapore Yachting Festival: One of Asia's premier yacht shows, showcasing the latest superyachts, boats, related equipment, and services. Amels Limited Editions: Damen Yachting's flagship superyacht lineup, offering exceptional design, engineering, and customizable options. The Amels 80 is the latest model in this lineup. Gross Tonnage (GT): A unit representing the overall internal volume of a vessel. Range: The maximum distance a vessel can travel at a specific speed with a full fuel capacity. Knot: A unit of speed at sea, with 1 knot equivalent to 1 nautical mile (approximately 1.852 km) per hour.

This award for the Amels 80 is a remarkable achievement that once again demonstrates Damen Yachting's outstanding technical prowess and innovative design capabilities, and it is expected to further strengthen Damen Yachting's position in the Asian superyacht market.
