Seoul, South Korea – Hanwha Corporation’s premium residential brand, Hanwha Forest, has been named one of the top seven best apartment brands in Korea by Real Estate R114. This achievement comes just five years after the brand's launch.

Launched in 2019, Hanwha Forest is a unified residential brand applied to all apartments, residential complexes, and officetels built by Hanwha Corporation's construction division. The name "Forena" is derived from the Swedish word for "connection," reflecting Hanwha's commitment to creating a new living culture through the connection between people and space.

Unique Design and Features

Hanwha Forest has differentiated itself through its unique design concept and product development for the entire living space. The "Forena Exterior" is a distinctive exterior concept that embodies Hanwha Forest's design philosophy of "connected and expanded" spaces. This concept is applied to every aspect of the apartment, from the entrance to the piloti, colors, and patterns, creating a visually recognizable and cohesive identity.

Hanwha Forest has also been at the forefront of introducing innovative features, such as the "Forena EV Air Station," South Korea's first ceiling-type electric vehicle charging system. Additionally, the brand has implemented "Forena Pet Friends Park," a dedicated pet playground, and "Pet Friends Interior," a pet-friendly design, to cater to the needs of pet owners.

Future Innovations

Hanwha Corporation's construction division plans to introduce a "Smart Facial Recognition Lobby Phone" that allows residents to enter their building with a simple facial scan. This system will enhance security with anti-forgery technology and will be designed to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities, including wheelchair users and children.
