Paraguay's versatile national artist, Quemil Yambay, is facing health challenges, and a heartwarming charity dinner will be held to support him. The event will take place tomorrow (the 26th) at 8 PM local time at Brasa & Leña (located on Avda. Dr. Guido Boggiani) in Asunción, a well-known restaurant.

This charity event has been organized to provide practical assistance to Quemil Yambay, who has brought joy and emotion to the Paraguayan people for over 50 years, and to express respect and support for his artistic career. Tickets cost 250,000 Guaraníes (PYG) and include an unlimited Paraguayan traditional charcoal grill (parrilla) and buffet, a variety of drinks and a cocktail bar, and a generous dessert table. Tickets can be purchased at the venue on the day of the event or reserved in advance by calling +595 985 491-751.

Karina Cardozo, the organizer of the event, explained the purpose, stating, "The main objective of this charity dinner is to gather the warm hearts and support of the Paraguayan people so that Mr. Quemil Yambay, a renowned musician and singer of Paraguay, can overcome these difficult times and rise again." She also added, "Brasa & Leña is the perfect place for friends, family, and fans of Mr. Yambay to come together, share a strong sense of solidarity in a pleasant atmosphere with delicious food."

Notably, famous Paraguayan broadcasters will be serving as special waiters at this charity dinner, drawing significant attention. Comedians Clara Franco, Gustavo Cabaña, and Enrique Pavón, along with renowned chefs José Torrijos, Eugenia Aquino, and Colaso Bo, and popular singer Nadia Portillo, broadcasters Karina Cardozo, Mario Ferreiro, Raúl Bogarín, Pichi Villanueva, and soccer player Juan Alfaro, among other prominent figures from various fields, will participate, adding to the event's significance. Cardozo emphasized, "Through the participation of these special waiters, we aim to convey not only financial support but also the affection and respect of all those who have long enjoyed Mr. Yambay's music."

Cardozo also expressed her gratitude, saying, "Unfortunately, in a situation where there is a lack of interest from the institutions that should be practically supporting Mr. Yambay, this event became possible thanks to the warm consideration and dedication of Giane and Valdenir De Oliveira, the owners of Brasa & Leña." She appealed to the public for their active participation and support.

The evening dinner will be filled with diverse artistic performances, promising attendees an unforgettable experience of emotion and joy. It is expected to be a special night of tribute to the great artist Quemil Yambay, who has brought countless joys to the Paraguayan people for over 50 years.

Quemil Yambay: A Giant of Paraguayan Music
