Seo Ha-yan, wife of South Korean singer Im Chang-jung, has resumed her social media activities nearly 10 months after going on hiatus.
On Instagram, Seo shared a video of her husband playing the piano and singing, accompanied by the caption: “I have no doubt about the infinite potential that remains in you. A piano practice video I filmed myself, although it's a bit clumsy.”
Seo's return to social media comes after her husband was cleared of allegations of stock price manipulation. Im Chang-jung was previously embroiled in a controversy related to the manipulation of stock prices, but investigations found insufficient evidence to charge him.
Following the controversy, both Im Chang-jung and Seo Ha-yan stepped away from the public eye. However, with the legal matter now resolved, Im Chang-jung has released new music and resumed his career.
In a previous Instagram post, Im Chang-jung issued a public apology, stating, “Even if I am not legally punished, how can that cover up my shameful actions? I will never forget all these things and will live my life reflecting on them. Please watch over me. Once again, I sincerely apologize.”
Seo Ha-yan's return to social media suggests that the couple is moving forward and looking to rebuild their public image.
