Hyundai Motor Launches EV Charging Subscription Service in Indonesia

Hyundai Motor is leading the way in building an electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in Indonesia, the world's fourth-most populous country.

Starting from November 28th, Hyundai is introducing an EV charging subscription service for its customers in Indonesia. This service can be subscribed to and used through Hyundai's car life app, 'My Hyundai Indonesia'.

Subscribers to the EV charging subscription service can freely use 518 EV chargers at 288 EV charging stations operated by Hyundai and its partner companies in Indonesia.

Subscribers can choose a charging capacity that suits their lifestyle and charging needs. The EV charging subscription service is available in three charging capacities: 50 kWh, 100 kWh, and 250 kWh. If the set charging capacity is used up, additional charges can be made to charge the electric vehicle.

Customers who purchased a Hyundai electric vehicle in Indonesia from September this year will receive a one-year discount when using the EV charging subscription service.

Considering the low credit card penetration in Indonesia, Hyundai supports mobile payment services.

Subscribers can register their preferred payment method, such as a card or mobile payment, when subscribing to the EV charging subscription service, eliminating the hassle of having to pay each time they use a charger.
