Singapore – The Huawei Cloud Credence Forum 2025 Singapore was successfully held, bringing together over 30 global industry leaders and technology experts. The forum provided an in-depth discussion platform on building and operating resilient cloud services, aiming to drive digital innovation and enhance quality and operational efficiency in the digital era.

Mr. Maxi Wang, CEO of Huawei International, emphasized in his keynote speech, “As technology advances rapidly, traditional operating models must evolve to meet the dynamic requirements of modern enterprises. Therefore, we must continuously innovate and jointly explore to effectively adapt to the new demands of cloud infrastructure. Just like the theme of today’s forum, ‘Accelerating Innovation in Cloud Resilience.’ The emergence of DeepSeek earlier this year has ignited the adoption of enterprise intelligence across various industries and posed new challenges to cloud infrastructure resilience.”

Alex An, Director of Huawei Cloud SRE Department: Huawei Cloud’s Deterministic Operations: Ensuring Security, Reliability, and High Quality for Global Customers

Alex An, Director of the Huawei Cloud SRE Department, stated, “Huawei Cloud achieved zero major incidents in 2024, demonstrating industry-leading quality standards. Huawei Cloud has localized the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concept to build a deterministic operations system. This comprehensive system integrates quality culture, high-availability architecture design, dynamic risk management, and intelligent operations to ensure that cloud customers consistently achieve predictable business outcomes. Leveraging its global network, risk management, and digital twin technologies, Huawei Cloud security services rapidly restore and enhance customer experience. The Huawei Cloud Credence Forum Singapore is a crucial step in its global expansion, fostering the local exploration and application of intelligent operations.”

Jayson Zheng, Director of Huawei Cloud Application Service SRE: Huawei Cloud’s Intelligence Service Cases: Delivering Business Certainty and High Availability

Mr. Jayson Zheng, Director of Huawei Cloud Application Service SRE, explained, “Huawei Cloud’s enterprise intelligence services currently support over 600 commercial customers. Our high-performance computing platform facilitates efficient task scheduling for large-scale clusters, ensuring over 90% MFU (Maximum Throughput Utilization) and linear scalability performance, meeting high availability requirements. We provide high availability for cloud-based intelligence services, supporting process-level recovery for training tasks and PD (Process Disconnection) for inference tasks. Our O&M platform ensures an SLO (Service Level Objective) exceeding 99.95%, MFU over 50%, and MTTR (Mean Time To Recovery) under 30 minutes, effectively helping customers optimize models and improve system throughput.”

A panel discussion moderated by Mr. Evan Cheng, Senior Vice President of Huawei Cloud Continuous Operation and Delivery, featured prominent industry experts including Mr. Jim Lim, Vice President of Cloud Security Alliance, Mr. Gan XingPing, CIO of NatSteel, Mr. Ariel Lin, Founder and Director of FLEX-SOLVER, and Dr. Zhang Xi, Huawei Cloud AI Expert.

The panelists provided valuable insights into how modern cloud resilience strategies can enhance enterprise agility and operational efficiency. The discussion covered critical topics such as cloud security standards, the seamless integration of intelligence into business processes to drive enterprise modernization, and the practical application of intelligent O&M.

Notably, the pivotal role of intelligent O&M in enhancing system reliability in today’s digital era was emphasized. The panel discussion concluded with a strong consensus on these key topics, reaffirming a shared commitment to supporting sustainable growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Huawei Cloud also officially launched the Huawei Cloud Credence Club in Singapore, marking a significant step in its commitment to digital transformation and operational excellence across various industries. Attended by initial members of the Credence Club and key regional business leaders, the Huawei Cloud Credence Club will collaborate with leading local enterprises to explore new technology trends, drive innovation through operational technologies, share best practices, and promote the advancement of industry transformation and technological development.

Ms. Gigi Hu, Managing Director of Huawei Cloud Singapore, concluded, “Leveraging its extensive global experience and expertise, Huawei Cloud has built a deterministic O&M system that ensures the secure and reliable operation of customers’ businesses in complex and changing environments. This system significantly enhances customers’ business quality and operational efficiency, enabling them to achieve their goals effectively.”

Looking ahead, Huawei Cloud plans to expand the role of the Credence Club as a catalyst for innovation and collaboration. By working with global experts and industry leaders, it will focus on overcoming technical barriers, scaling intelligent operations, and enhancing cloud productivity. The ultimate goal is to achieve trusted intelligent operations, resource efficiency, and business agility, transforming O&M into a core driver of the intelligent world.

The Huawei Cloud Credence Forum provided a valuable platform for addressing the growing importance of cloud resilience in the digital age and for fostering discussions on how enterprises can overcome challenges and accelerate innovation.
