Jeju Economic Awards Honors Top Businesses

Jeju City, South Korea – The prestigious Jeju Economic Awards ceremony was held on the 26th at the Jeju Chamber of Commerce International Conference Hall, recognizing outstanding companies that have driven the growth of Jeju's economy. Among the 16 companies honored, Youngin Construction Co., Ltd. (represented by Lim Yoon-bae) and Eco Power Tech Co., Ltd. received the grand prize.

Co-organized by Jeju Minbo and the Jeju Provincial Government, the Jeju Economic Awards aims to promote regional economic vitality and foster a positive corporate culture. This year, the awards held particular significance as the selected companies have demonstrated remarkable resilience and innovation, contributing significantly to the community despite the challenging economic climate.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of prominent figures, including Jeju Provincial Assembly Speaker Lee Sang-bong, Jeju Vice Governor Jin Myung-gi, and representatives from various government agencies, financial institutions, and civic organizations.

Grand Prize Winners Youngin Construction and Eco Power Tech were awarded the grand prize, receiving the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy Award and the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award, respectively.

Other Notable Awardees A number of other companies were recognized in various categories, including:

Economic Award: VPP Lab Co., Ltd., Manje English Cooperative, and Jeju Indy Co., Ltd.
Sectoral Awards: Jeju Milk Co., Ltd., Jeju Aepongdang Co., Ltd., Anjung Development Co., Ltd., Hondi Livestock Co., Ltd., Kumho Tire Jeju Sales Co., Ltd., and Make A Better Co., Ltd.
Special Awards: Riblank Co., Ltd., Seogwipo Traditional Oil Market Merchants Association, Kang Paeng-cheol (Jeju National University Startup Incubation Center), and Jeong Cheol (Jeju Provincial Government Enterprise Investment Division).
Merit Award: Jeju Farm 21 Co., Ltd.
