[GLOBAL ECONOMIC TIMES]  The 'Korea Festival 2024', hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Paraguay for two days on August 23rd and 24th, was successfully held with an enthusiastic response from the Paraguayan people.

This festival showcased a variety of Korean culture, including K-beauty, K-food, Korean literature, Hangul, traditional games, Taekwondo, and K-Pop, and provided Paraguayans with an opportunity to vividly experience Korean culture. In particular, at the K-Beauty experience booth, participants were able to experience the beauty of Korea for themselves through makeup, hair, and hanbok experiences, and at the K-Drinks booth, they were able to experience the taste of Korea through tasting traditional drinks.

Korean literature lectures and Hangul experience contributed to promoting the charm of the Korean language and literature to the Paraguayan people, and drawing and traditional play experiences for children added to the enjoyable atmosphere. In addition, the dynamic performance of the Taekwondo demonstration team and K-Pop cover dance heightened the atmosphere of the scene and received enthusiastic cheers from the participants.

An official from the Korean Embassy in Paraguay said, “We hope that this Korea Festival will serve as an opportunity to increase Paraguayan people’s understanding of Korean culture and promote cultural exchange between the two countries.” He added, “We will continue to further develop our relationship with Paraguay and use culture as a medium.” “We will serve as a bridge to unite the people of both countries,” he said.
