Daejeon City Dance Company Presents 'Hansel and Gretel'

The Daejeon City Dance Company will present the family dance drama 'Fairy Tale Drawn with Dance - Hansel and Gretel' at the Daejeon Arts Center Ensemble Hall from April 2nd (Wed) to 5th (Sat), with a total of 7 performances.

'Fairy Tale Drawn with Dance' is a representative family performance of the Daejeon City Dance Company, combining humorous choreography and exciting storytelling. It is enjoyable for anyone over 36 months old and is very popular, recording a sold-out performance every year.

In this performance, choreographer Lee Yoo-ra, director Kim Ji-won, and storyteller Heo Young-sook will collaborate to deliver a touching stage that teaches lessons to children and imparts wisdom to adults.

Performance Details:

The story of Hansel and Gretel, siblings abandoned by poor parents, who discover a witch's house made of candy in the forest, face the danger of being eaten by the witch, but escape by using their wit.
Emphasizes the importance of courage and perseverance in the face of difficulties, as well as love and cooperation between family members.
Sensory choreography, witty directing, and exciting storytelling combine to provide a more vibrant stage.
