GOYANG, South Korea – HD Hyundai, a leading South Korean industrial conglomerate, today unveiled its latest advancements in construction equipment with the global premiere of two next-generation excavator models at the prestigious 2025 Seoul Mobility Show. The highly anticipated launch took place at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1, showcasing the company's commitment to innovation and its vision for the future of smart construction.

The two groundbreaking models include the 40-ton 'HYUNDAI' excavator, developed by HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, and the 24-ton 'DEVELON' excavator, a product of HD Hyundai Infracore. Notably, these excavators represent the first collaborative development effort between HD Hyundai's three core construction machinery divisions: HD Hyundai XiteSolution, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, and HD Hyundai Infracore. This synergy underscores the group's unified approach to technological advancement in the sector.

At the heart of these new machines lies the innovative Fully Electric Hydraulic (FEH) system, designed to optimize power delivery and enhance operational efficiency. Beyond core mechanics, the excavators are equipped with a suite of intelligent features categorized under 'Smart Assist,' 'Smart Safety,' and 'Smart Monitoring.' 'Smart Assist' functionalities are engineered to streamline workflows and boost productivity, while 'Smart Safety' features incorporate advanced technologies to create a safer working environment for operators and site personnel. The 'Smart Monitoring' system focuses on maximizing equipment uptime through proactive diagnostics and maintenance alerts.

Under the overarching theme of 'No Infrastructure, No Mobility,' HD Hyundai has established an expansive 1,215 square meter (approximately 367 pyeong) exhibition space at the Seoul Mobility Show. This prominent display highlights the critical role of construction equipment in enabling broader mobility solutions and infrastructure development.

Visitors to the HD Hyundai booth are offered an immersive experience, allowing them to delve into the core technologies of the new excavators via interactive touch panels located at dedicated tables. A massive 12-meter LED screen further captivates audiences with dynamic video content showcasing HD Hyundai's latest products, as well as its forward-looking vision for unmanned and autonomous land-based solutions.

To provide a hands-on understanding of their cutting-edge technologies, HD Hyundai has incorporated various engaging activities within its exhibition. Attendees can experience the thrill of 4D ride simulators, test their skills with RC construction equipment, and immerse themselves in virtual worksite scenarios through VR simulators. Recognizing the importance of engaging a wider audience, HD Hyundai has also curated family-friendly content, including the popular 'DeguReuru' line of construction vehicle toys for young children, a digital graffiti wall, and a well-stocked merchandise shop.

Cho Young-cheul, CEO of HD Hyundai XiteSolution, emphasized the significance of these new models, stating, "These next-generation excavators are flagship products that embody the combined technological prowess and extensive know-how of HD Hyundai's construction machinery sector. With these advanced machines leading the charge, we are confident in elevating our national representative brands, 'HYUNDAI' and 'DEVELON,' to the ranks of global top-tier manufacturers."

The unveiling of these state-of-the-art excavators at the Seoul Mobility Show marks a significant step forward for HD Hyundai in its pursuit of innovation and global market leadership in the construction equipment industry. The company's focus on smart technologies, enhanced safety, and operational efficiency positions it well to meet the evolving demands of the modern construction landscape.
