INCHEON – The 6th Incheon International Ocean Forum (IIOF 2025), a pivotal event for the global maritime community, is set to take place for two days from July 3 to 4 at Songdo Convensia in Incheon. Organized by Incheon City and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and co-hosted by the Incheon Port Authority (IPA) and Yonhap News, this year's forum aims to delve into critical discussions under the theme, "A Turbulent Global Economy, a Resurgent Marine Industry."
As the largest maritime knowledge forum in the Seoul Metropolitan area, the IIOF has consistently drawn significant international attention since its inception in 2020. Over the years, it has hosted approximately 180 speakers from 30 countries, serving as a vital platform for sharing major trends and future visions within the maritime sector.
This year's forum will provide an in-depth exploration of global issues across various fields, including the maritime industry, marine environment, and ocean technologies. Participants will engage in discussions centered on the strategic value of the oceans, examining the paradigm shift towards a maritime-centered future and proposing actionable strategies for international cooperation and sustainable development.
