In the AI Era, CEOs Must Transfigure into ‘Total Experience Owners’ (CXOs), Asserts Douzone Bizon Co-CEO Ji Yong-goo

Speaking at the Electronic Times CAIO Forum, Ji outlines the transformative formula for AI Transition (AX) and shares explosive market adoption data for 'ONE AI'

SEOUL, South Korea — In the rapidly accelerating era of Artificial Intelligence Transition (AX), the traditional paradigms of corporate leadership and organizational structure are undergoing an irreversible shift. Chief Executive Officers must transcend their conventional roles as passive recipients of departmental reports and instead emerge as the "Total Experience Owners" (CXOs) who seamlessly integrate multi-dimensional corporate experiences into a singular, unified organizational flow.

This urgent strategic imperative was delivered by Ji Yong-goo, Co-CEO and President of Douzone Bizon, during his high-profile keynote address at the inauguration of the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) Forum. The prestigious event, hosted by the Electronic Times, convened today at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, drawing an audience of elite technology leaders, policymakers, and corporate executives eager to navigate the emerging AI-driven economic landscape.

Presenting under the theme "The Era of AX (AI Transition) and the Evolution of the Way We Work," Ji challenged traditional organizational methodologies that fragment corporate operations. He emphasized that in a contemporary ecosystem where artificial intelligence routinely delivers outputs comparable to an 80-point expert baseline, relying on isolated, department-specific channels is a critically outdated management philosophy.

"Modern CEOs can no longer afford to operate at a distance, merely evaluating siloed reports from individual business units," Ji declared during his presentation. "True leadership in the AX era demands that the chief executive becomes the primary orchestrator of the corporate experience ecosystem, unifying User Experience (UX), Employee Experience (EX), and Customer Experience (CX) into a cohesive, intelligent workflow. The leader must effectively embody the dual role of the Total Experience Owner and the Chief AI Officer."

Reflecting on his extensive three-year tenure spearheading Douzone Bizon’s internal and external AI evolution—which seamlessly built upon the foundations of Digital Transformation (DX)—Ji outlined a precise hierarchy of strategic awareness required for contemporary CAIOs. According to Ji, data occupies the first order of operational importance, followed closely by robust corporate governance as the second priority, and the specific AI technologies and models themselves as the third. However, he emphasized that an absolute prerequisite—the "Priority Zero"—supersedes all technical components: decisive, visionary leadership.

To substantiate his insights on corporate adaptability, Ji unveiled unprecedented empirical performance data accumulated by Douzone Bizon over the past 18 months of intensive AX execution. The company’s flagship enterprise artificial intelligence solution, "ONE AI," has achieved explosive market penetration, securing more than 7,600 corporate clients and accumulating over 130,000 active enterprise users within a remarkably condensed timeframe.

Ji contextualized the historical significance of this adoption velocity by contrasting it with previous technological milestones. "During the legacy on-premise software era, it required an average of five arduous years for our organization to secure 1,000 new corporate clients," Ji revealed. "As the industry transitioned to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), that benchmark was reduced to three years. Today, in the era of AI Transition, we have successfully integrated 1,000 enterprise clients into our AI ecosystem in a mere three months. This exponential compression of the sales and adoption cycle demonstrates that the market is not only anticipating AI integration but is fundamentally primed for immediate implementation."

A central highlight of the keynote address was Ji’s introduction of a mathematically inspired strategic equation designed to serve as the definitive success formula for modern business transformation:

AX = (UX + EX + CX) * AI

Ji explained that while traditional Digital Transformation (DX) represented a simple arithmetic summation of individual components—merely adding User Experience, Employee Experience, and Customer Experience together—AI Transition (AX) functions as an exponential multiplier. By applying artificial intelligence as a multiplier to the aggregated experience baseline, organizations can trigger a powerful compounding effect that exponentially amplifies both individual employee capabilities and macro-level organizational efficiency.

Concluding his address, Ji offered a definitive analysis of the shifting global AI competitive landscape, observing a macro-migration away from theoretical model development toward practical application. He noted that the competition paradigm has decisively transitioned from an era focused on core algorithms and foundational models to an era defined by practical on-site implementation and rapid, vertical-specific execution capable of generating tangible financial outcomes.

"The historical milestone of 2024, where NVIDIA achieved a phenomenal 65% operating profit margin and ascended to the world's most valuable company by market capitalization, served as the definitive structural proof that AI is an immensely profitable, commercially viable industrial engine," Ji concluded. "The ultimate battleground for AI supremacy has permanently shifted away from isolated research laboratories and moved directly onto the operational industry floor. Future corporate survival and dominance will be dictated entirely by an organization's field deployment capability and its capacity to deliver verifiable industrial proof of AI value."
