The Independence Hall of Korea (Director Kim Hyung-seok) announced on the 14th that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seosan City (Mayor Lee Wan-seop) at the Seosan City Hall’s conference room. The agreement, forged on the cusp of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation, aims to broaden the reach of the nation's culture of honoring patriots and veterans.
This landmark MOU marks the first such collaboration between the Independence Hall and a local autonomous entity specifically for the purpose of amplifying veteran and patriotic awareness surrounding the 80th anniversary of the nation's liberation from Japanese colonial rule. The signing ceremony was attended by approximately ten representatives from both organizations, including Director Kim Hyung-seok of the Independence Hall and Mayor Lee Wan-seop of Seosan City.
