Song Ji-hyo, the 43-year-old South Korean actress and longtime cast member of the popular variety show Running Man, is facing a challenging start for her new lingerie brand, Nina.Ssong. Launched in December 2024, the brand focuses on comfortable bras, panties, and pajamas in predominantly neutral colors. Song Ji-hyo even released a photoshoot showcasing herself in Nina.Ssong items, including a widely-circulated image of her stretching in sheer peach pajamas.

However, the actress recently revealed the brand's initial struggles. On the latest episode of Running Man (released February 9th), host Yoo Jae-suk mentioned Nina.Ssong, stating, "Ji-hyo started a business recently, but she's quite worried. She says she only gets one or two orders a day." Song Ji-hyo confirmed the slow sales with a wistful smile, simply saying, "I will work hard!"

Her Running Man co-stars offered words of encouragement, urging her to persevere. Haha, the rapper and fellow host, added a touch of humor, noting, "That's how it is at first, but you've already gone viral with that stretch (in the photoshoot)." He then jokingly suggested she incorporate the historical Korean servants' uniforms the cast was wearing into her next photoshoot, much to the amusement of the other members.

Song Ji-hyo previously shared on Yoo Jae-suk's YouTube channel that Nina.Ssong had been eight years in the making. She explained her dedication to the project, saying, "I've been going to (the fashion district) Dongdaemun, touching and feeling the fabrics and examining them closely." Despite the current challenges, Song Ji-hyo's commitment to her brand remains evident.

Running Man is available for streaming on Viu.
