[(주)더금영], a prominent South Korean firm specializing in the design and manufacturing of sophisticated industrial air conditioning systems for critical sectors such as semiconductors and secondary batteries, today celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters in Sinseong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. The inauguration ceremony, held at the modern facility located at 167, Gajeongbuk-ro, marked a significant milestone for the company and underscored Daejeon's burgeoning role as a nucleus for strategic high-tech industries.

The event, which commenced at 3:30 PM local time on Friday, April 18th, drew a distinguished gathering of approximately 100 attendees. Among the notable figures present were the Mayor of Daejeon Metropolitan City, Lee Jang-woo, the Chief Executive Officer of The Keumyoung Co., Ltd., Choi Seung-ho, and the President of Seibu Giken Japan, Kuma Fumio, highlighting the collaborative spirit within the industry. Representatives from key partner companies and dedicated employees of The Keumyoung also joined in the celebration.

The ceremony unfolded with a comprehensive progress report detailing the journey towards the new headquarters, followed by the presentation of plaques of appreciation to key contributors. Heartfelt congratulatory addresses were delivered by Mayor Lee and other dignitaries, emphasizing the strategic importance of The Keumyoung's expansion to the region's economic landscape. The symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony officially marked the opening of the facility, followed by a commemorative tree planting symbolizing the company's continued growth and deep roots in Daejeon. Attendees were then given an insightful tour of the newly constructed headquarters.

Established in 2007 in Daejeon, The Keumyoung Co., Ltd. has rapidly ascended as a leader in providing customized air conditioning solutions for cleanroom and dry room environments, essential for the delicate manufacturing processes in the semiconductor and advanced battery industries. The company's commitment to innovation and quality has propelled its expansion into the global market, commencing in 2013. Since then, The Keumyoung has successfully secured numerous large-scale projects in international markets, including Hungary, Poland, and the United States, demonstrating its robust global competitiveness and technological prowess.

The company's impressive track record of securing substantial orders over the past three years further attests to its growth trajectory. Order volumes reached 139.4 billion Korean Won (approximately $105 million USD) in 2022, surged to 173.9 billion KRW (approximately $130 million USD) in 2023, and further escalated to 263 billion KRW (approximately $197 million USD) in 2024. A significant achievement in 2023 was the company's remarkable $87.5 million USD in exports, which earned The Keumyoung the prestigious 'Thirty Million Dollar Export Tower' award, a testament to its significant contribution to South Korea's international trade.

The newly inaugurated four-story headquarters spans an expansive floor area of 3,751 square meters (approximately 40,375 square feet). The meticulously designed facility integrates state-of-the-art research and development laboratories and advanced production facilities, fostering innovation and efficiency. Recognizing the importance of employee well-being, the new building also features modern welfare amenities, including a sky lounge offering panoramic views, creating a conducive and collaborative work environment.

With this significant investment in its infrastructure, The Keumyoung Co., Ltd. is poised to further enhance its research and development capabilities, attract top-tier talent, and strategically position itself for sustained future growth within the dynamic advanced industrial sector.
