Promotional Hub at Busan Eurasia Platform Offers Integrated Guide to 22 Festivals, Merchandise, and Experience Events

BUSAN — The Busan Metropolitan Government and the Busan Tourism Organization (CEO Lee Jung-sil) announced on October 7 that they are operating a promotional hub at the Busan Eurasia Platform in the Busan Station outdoor plaza for "Festival Shiwol 2026," alongside a city-wide "Shiwol Stamp Tour" running through October 18.

Festival Shiwol is an integrated brand encompassing 22 music, film, and business festivals held across Busan throughout October. Under this year's theme, "Going to Busan in October," the city has strengthened connections between events to encourage tourists to explore multiple festivals rather than staying at just one.

The Festival Begins the Moment You Arrive at Busan Station: Busan Eurasia Platform Promotional Hub

The promotional hub operates from October 1 to 18 at the Busan Eurasia Platform in the Busan Station outdoor plaza. Located at the primary gateway for tourists arriving in Busan via KTX, it provides a comprehensive guide to the schedules and locations of all 22 Festival Shiwol events at a glance.

In addition to multilingual festival guides and stamp tour merchandise collection, the hub offers themed pre-experience programs. The signature program, "Guess Festival Shiwol," challenges visitors to stop a timer matching the exact date of their chosen event. Additional chances to play can be earned by participating in other hub programs.

Other highlights include:

"Shiwol-력 (Calendar) Test": Check festival details via teaser videos and wall doors and take a quiz.
"Festival Shiwol Taste Test": Find your personal festival match through six quick questions.
"Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) Zone": Enjoy trailers and a BIFF photo zone.
"Busan International Rock Festival Zone": Experience the festival vibe early with music and a drum photo zone.
"Gourmet Zone": Vote for your favorite among 10 signature Busan dishes.
"Beauty Zone": Featuring idol makeup demonstrations, personal color analysis, and beauty product trials (demonstrations by professional instructors daily from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM).
At the "360° Photo Zone," visitors can create custom 360-degree trailer videos featuring Busan as the backdrop. Those who share their video on social media with required hashtags (#FestivalShiwol2026 #festivalshiwol) and verify it will receive a complimentary cup coaster on a first-come, first-served basis (limited to 30 on weekdays and 35 on weekends).

A special "Busan Eurasia Platform Visit Event" is also available exclusively for hub visitors. Scanning the QR code inside the hub automatically verifies the visit, with mobile Onnuri gift certificates awarded through a weekly Wednesday draw. Each week, prizes will be drawn for 1st place (50,000 KRW for 1 winner), 2nd place (30,000 KRW for 2 winners), and 3rd place (10,000 KRW for 4 winners), totaling 450,000 KRW across 21 recipients over the period.

Find "Bugi" at 10 Festival Venues: Festival Shiwol Stamp Tour

The Festival Shiwol Stamp Tour runs from October 1 to 18 across 10 Festival Shiwol locations. Participating is simple: find the standee of Busan’s mascot "Bugi" holding a QR code at the festival site, scan it with a smartphone, and collect a mobile stamp. No separate app installation or paper stamp cards are required.

The stamp tour connects with 10 Festival Shiwol events across the city. Remaining events include the Busan International Performing Arts Market (through Oct. 7), Startup Park Busan (Oct. 7–8), Busan Biennale (through Nov. 1. Note: event dates as listed), Starry Sea Busan Night Market (Oct. 8–11 / Oct. 15–18), Busan International Food Expo (Oct. 9–11), Balcony Music Show & Street Festa (Oct. 10), Busan Pork Soup Festival (Oct. 16–18), and Busan Craft Beer Masters Challenge (Oct. 16–18). The stamp tour runs through October 18.

The starting point of the stamp tour is the Busan Eurasia Platform. Visiting and verifying the promotional hub earns the first stamp, and visiting two additional participating festivals to collect one stamp from each—totaling three stamps—completes the tour. Finishers will receive a "Shiwol Premium Tea" and "Shiwol Eco-Friendly Diffuser" set at the hub and automatically enter the completion grand prize draw.

Grand prizes include 1st place LG StandbyME 2 (1 winner), 2nd place Galaxy Tab S10 FE (2 winners), and 3rd place Galaxy Buds 4 (3 winners). Collecting more stamps by visiting additional festivals even after completion increases winning odds. Winners will be announced on October 30.

"We prepared this promotional hub so visitors can experience Festival Shiwol the moment they step off the train at Busan Station," an official from the organization stated. "We hope everyone enjoys the festivals scattered across Busan following the stamp tour and stops back by Busan Station to claim their merchandise and a chance at lucky prizes."
