Seoul, South Korea – November 13, 2024 – Hyundai Motor has unveiled the interior of its upcoming IONIQ 9, a large electric SUV that will expand the company's dedicated electric vehicle lineup.

The newly released images showcase a spacious and inviting cabin designed around Hyundai's "Aerosthetic" concept, which prioritizes both aerodynamic efficiency and a roomy interior. The IONIQ 9 boasts a class-leading wheelbase and leverages the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) to offer a flat floor that can accommodate up to seven passengers comfortably across three rows of seats.

The interior features a soft and calming ambiance, characterized by oval-shaped design elements found throughout the door trims, handles, and other surfaces.

"The IONIQ 9 offers a customer-centric lounge-like space," said Simon Loasby, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai Design Center. "It showcases our vision of how technology, design, and comfort can harmoniously converge in mobility."

Hyundai plans to unveil the IONIQ 9's design, features, and specifications at a global launch event in Los Angeles later this month. The company will also roll out a global marketing campaign to accompany the launch.
