The 4th Anddeok Valley Art Festival runs from the 17th to the 18th this month, featuring a special Hanbok fashion show on opening day.

Seogwipo's breathtaking Anddeok Valley is once again transforming into a grand open-air theater. Selected as part of Jeju Island's "2026 Participatory Budget Project," the 4th Anddeok Valley Art Festival (ANDEOK VALLEY ART FESTIVAL) is set to captivate visitors.

Hosted by the cultural arts organization Montdak and the Gamsan Village Association, the festival will take place on October 17 and 18 around the Anddeok Valley area. During the two-day event, the valley's stunning natural surroundings—complete with ancient forests and dramatic rock formations—will serve as a magnificent stage uniting local artists and residents.

Day 1 (October 17, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM): Professional artists will take the stage, highlighted by a special "Anddeok Valley Hanbok Fashion Show" featuring renowned Hanbok artist Cho Ha-young, offering visitors a unique cultural spectacle.
Day 2 (October 18, 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM): Community performances will take center stage, featuring the Anddeok Children's Center "Boomsticks" Nanta troupe, the saxophone ensemble "Padosori," the Seogwipo mixed vocal ensemble "Harmonix," and the Gamsan Village Health Gymnastics Club.
Kim Min-soo, CEO of cultural arts space Montdak, shared his aspirations: "We hope residents, artists, and visitors alike can come together in Anddeok Valley, where the sound of flowing water becomes music and the rocks and forests form the stage. We look forward to this festival establishing itself as a representative nature-art festival in the southwestern region of Seogwipo."
