Lee Ji-sung took office as the 46th Administrative Vice Governor of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province on the 28th and officially began his duties.

Upon arriving at the provincial office, Vice Governor Lee completed his reporting-for-duty to the Governor, attended a senior executive tea meeting to review major policy issues, and discussed future provincial administration directions. Through his inaugural address, he presented three core operational directions for the successful promotion of the 9th popular election provincial administration: "One-Team Administration," "Swift Decision-Making," and "Field-Centered Administration."

Vice Governor Lee stated, "To realize the vision of the 9th popular election—'Tangible Growth with the Residents, a Greater Jeonbuk with the World'—I will do my utmost to lay the foundation for Jeonbuk's growth and create a major transformation that captures the world's attention."

He emphasized, "Departmental boundaries are merely standards for dividing tasks, but to the residents, we are a single provincial office. I will directly connect work that crosses departments and foster an organizational culture where all public officials cooperate as one team to jointly create results that residents can feel."

Furthermore, he stated, "The speed of administration is the speed of decision-making. We will make swift decisions on matters requiring judgment and strongly support public officials so they can work proactively without fear."

In addition, he noted, "The completion of a report is not the completion of the field. Through a field-centered administration that directly checks policy outcomes in the field and carefully attends to difficulties on the ground, we will create changes that residents can experience."

Jeonbuk State Administrative Vice Governor Lee Ji-sung was born in Gochang, Jeonbuk, and has served as the Mayor of Deokjin-gu, Jeonju, the Director of Culture, Sports, and Tourism for Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, the Head of the Organization Diagnosis Division at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and the Policy Planning Officer. Based on his abundant policy experience gained in local administration, organizational innovation, and autonomous decentralization, he will play a role in enhancing the stability of provincial administration and the driving force behind major pending issues as the inaugural administrative vice governor of the 9th popular election.
