SAMCHEOK, South Korea – The Samcheok City Community Welfare Council announced it will host the "2025 Samcheok Welfare Expo" on Saturday, June 21, at 10:00 AM, at the Samcheok Rose Park Inline Skating Rink.

Under the slogan, "Adding Special Welfare to an Ordinary Day," this year's expo aims to strengthen the public-private cooperative network and provide a platform for citizens to experience and learn about various welfare services. The event will see the participation of 32 social welfare-related organizations and groups.

Approximately 800 individuals are expected to attend the welfare expo. The program will feature a diverse range of activities, including an opening ceremony, operation of experience, promotional, counseling, food, and product sales booths. Engaging events such as a welfare OX quiz, a four-line poetry contest, and a charity auction are also planned. Furthermore, cultural performances will be a highlight, with a total of nine teams participating, including a special performance by students from Byeollarae Kindergarten.

A city official stated, "This welfare expo will serve as an opportunity for citizens to understand tailored social security services for each life stage and to experience our city's various welfare projects firsthand." The official added, "It is also expected to significantly contribute to the revitalization of local welfare, based on cooperation between institutions and organizations."
