The city of Chungju is organizing a public event where companion animals and their owners can participate together while learning proper pet-raising culture.

The 3rd Chungju 'Dog & Cat Cheerful Sports Day' will be held on the 17th at Tangeum Park. Along with playful programs such as talent shows and a golden bell quiz, the event will feature pet health consultations, basic grooming, and adoption promotion.

In the afternoon, a dog show and a lecture by dog trainer Lee Chan-jong are also scheduled. The dog playground will remain open throughout the event.

Environmental cleanup activities and a participatory event utilizing dogs' paw prints will also be held. The event is characterized by being structured as a hands-on experience that goes beyond a simple festival to promote pet etiquette, respect for life, and adoption culture.
