The Bucheon R&D Complex Center is a multi-purpose facility that includes an innovation space for startups, R&D institutions, and an integrated urban control center. Participants are encouraged to freely propose names that capture the building's characteristics and symbolism. Citizens wishing to participate can submit one entry per person via the Bucheon City website (www.bucheon.go.kr), the QR code on promotional posters, or the direct link (https://naver.me/GIGSY73c).

The city will select the final winners through two rounds of judging. Winners will receive certificates and Onnuri gift certificates: 500,000 won for the grand prize winner (1 person), 300,000 won for the excellence prize winner (1 person), and 100,000 won for the honorable mention (1 person). The final results will be announced on the Bucheon City website (www.bucheon.go.kr) in September.

Bucheon Mayor Cho Yong-ik stated, "This contest is a process of creating the identity of a building that combines startup, R&D, and control center functions, together with our citizens." He added, "The creative ideas and active participation of citizens will further enrich the future of Bucheon."

The "Bucheon R&D Complex Center" is a 13-story building with two basement levels. The first floor is an open public space, floors 2 to 6 are dedicated to startup innovation, floors 7 and 8 house R&D institutions, and floors 9 to 13 are occupied by the integrated urban control center. The first floor has been open to the public since March 29th and is widely used by citizens.

For more details about the contest, please visit the Bucheon City website or contact the Business Support Division, Business SOS Team at 032-625-2756.
