Seoul, South Korea – Some of the most celebrated figures in Korean traditional arts will come together for the "2025 Han Eum Myungmu Myeongchang Exhibition" on February 14th at 7:30 PM at the National Gugak Center's Yeakdang Theater in Seocho-dong, Seoul.
Hosted by the Rak Eum Korean Traditional Music Group, this year's exhibition is themed "The Breath of Artists, The Pulse of Tradition," aiming to showcase both the present and future of traditional Korean arts.
The event will feature:
Kim Su-yeon: A holder of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Korea for Pansori (Korean narrative song)
Baek Kyeong-woo: An instructor of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Korea for Seungmu (monk's dance) and Salpuri-chum (exorcism dance)
Lee Mi-joo: An instructor of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Korea for Ilmu (line dance) of Jongmyo Jeryeak (royal ancestral ritual music)
Choi Eun-gyu: An instructor of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Korea for Taepyeongmu (great peace dance)
This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to witness the pinnacle of Korean traditional dance and vocal music in one performance.
