Rookie girl group UNIS is successfully continuing their first-ever Asia fan-con tour, accelerating their global fandom expansion. Starting with Seoul and successfully concluding performances in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, UNIS is set to continue the热潮 in Manila, Philippines, in August.

Embarking on Asia Tour Just 100 Days After Debut, An Unusual Move

UNIS's current Asia tour has garnered attention for its unusual timing, being announced right after the conclusion of their debut album 'WE UNIS' activities, and just over 100 days since the group's debut. Formed through the survival program 'Universe Ticket,' UNIS is composed of 8 multinational members: Jin Hyeon-ju, Nana, Gehlee Dangca, Kotoko, Bang Yun-ha, Elisia, Oh Yun-a, and Lim Seo-won. From their debut, they have received high interest from both domestic and international fans. Especially with members of diverse nationalities, including Elisia from the Philippines and Nana, Kotoko, and Gehlee Dangca from Japan, they possess a strong advantage in approaching Asian fans more intimately.

Japan Tour Successfully Concludes Amidst Enthusiastic Excitement

On June 20, UNIS successfully concluded their '2025 UNIS FANCON ASIA TOUR' Japan performance at Osaka Namba Hatch. Osaka was the third stop on their tour, and UNIS presented an unforgettable time to local fans through two shows that day, at 3:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Earlier, on June 15 and 16, they performed twice at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo, drawing enthusiastic cheers from Japanese fans.

During this Japan tour, UNIS showcased their solid live skills and dazzling performances, presenting various stages including their debut album title track 'SUPERWOMAN,' as well as B-side tracks 'Dopamine,' 'Kkumkyeol Gateun (Like a Dream),' and 'Byeol-ui Harmony (Harmony of Stars).' As it was a fan concert, they also focused on communicating with fans, creating a special time. The members made eye contact with fans throughout the stage and actively provided fan service, adding richness to the performance. Local fans responded by singing along to the Korean songs and passionately cheering, showing their deep affection for UNIS.

After successfully completing the Japan tour, the members shared their emotional thoughts, saying, "It was so happy and enjoyable to hold our first Asia tour and perform four times in Japan. It felt like time passed so quickly." They continued, "Thank you so much for coming to see UNIS's performance. Please wait until we come back to Japan. We will return with a more grown-up image," conveying their heartfelt promise to fans for their next meeting.

Manila, Philippines Performance, Targeting Global Fandom

UNIS has successfully concluded fan concerts in three cities—Seoul, Tokyo, and Osaka—leaving a strong impression on global fans. Their next step will be on August 9 at the New Frontier Theater in Manila, Philippines. As the Philippines is member Elisia's homeland, intense interest and anticipation from local fans are expected. Having received strong support from local Philippine media and fans since their debut, UNIS plans to further solidify their position in the Philippines through this Manila performance.

UNIS's first Asia tour is expected to be an important stepping stone that goes beyond simple performances to expand their global fandom and solidify their position in the K-pop scene. With their multinational member composition, outstanding skills, and sincere efforts to communicate with fans, UNIS is expected to leave meaningful footprints in more diverse Asian regions and prove their growth as a 'global rookie.' All eyes are on their next move.
