Suwon Special City – Suwon Special City announced on the 29th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 5th cohort of the '2025 Suwon Business IR Day Suwon PANN' program until the 5th of next month. This program aims to discover and foster small, venture, and startup companies with excellent technology and growth potential. It is considered a flagship startup program led by Suwon City, playing a key role in revitalizing the local economy and building a future industrial ecosystem.

Vision of 'Suwon PANN': Providing Investment Attraction Opportunities for Companies with Growth Potential

The 'Suwon Business IR Day Suwon PANN' program was designed by Suwon City to systematically support promising small and medium-sized enterprises, venture companies, and early-stage startups with innovative ideas in the region. The main objective of this program is to strengthen these companies' IR (Investor Relations) capabilities and provide opportunities that can lead to actual investment. In a rapidly changing market environment, technology alone has limitations for growth, making investment attraction an essential element for corporate survival and leapfrogging. Suwon City aims to meet the needs of these companies and support their sustainable growth.

Tailored Support Programs for Selected Companies

Companies selected for 'Suwon PANN' will receive professional and customized education and mentoring, including ▲corporate diagnostics, ▲IR Deck (business plan) storyline consulting, ▲mock pitching and speech consulting, and ▲IR storyline and speech capability enhancement consulting. The focus is on helping companies effectively convey their value and vision to investors. In particular, one-on-one intensive mentoring with professional consultants will provide in-depth feedback tailored to each company's characteristics and needs, contributing to the completion of IR materials and maximizing presentation skills.

The 5th Suwon Business IR Day: A Direct Meeting Place with Investors

Companies that successfully complete the one-on-one intensive mentoring and consulting process will showcase their capabilities at the 5th Suwon Business IR Day Suwon PANN main program, scheduled for July 8. At this event, selected companies will engage in direct investment attraction activities targeting leading venture capitalists (VCs) and accelerators (ACs), including the operators of the Suwon Business Saebit Fund.

Continuous Growth Support Through Post-Management

Suwon City plans to continuously monitor the investment performance of companies participating in 'Suwon PANN' and operate post-management programs, including matching additional investors as needed, to support their growth until the end. This demonstrates Suwon City's firm commitment to helping companies grow and develop in the long term, not just providing short-term support. The aim is to identify factors hindering a company's growth even after investment attraction and to build a system that helps companies solve their challenges through customized consulting and resource linkage.

Eligibility and Recruitment Areas: Innovative Companies to Lead Suwon's Future

The 5th cohort of '2025 Suwon Business IR Day Suwon PANN' is open to ▲small, venture, and startup companies located in Suwon City (including those planning to start a business). Additionally, ▲companies planning to establish or relocate their headquarters, branches, affiliated research institutes, or factories within Suwon City in 2025 are also eligible to apply. This reflects Suwon City's commitment to actively attracting companies with the potential to contribute to local economic revitalization and job creation. Companies that applied in 2024 but were not selected can reapply for another opportunity.

Focus on Deep Tech Startups

This 5th cohort will particularly focus on recruiting Deep Tech startups that will be responsible for Suwon's future industries. Specifically, companies in the fields of ▲materials, parts, and equipment (So-Bu-Jang) and semiconductors, ▲bio, ▲early-stage startups and re-startups, ▲artificial intelligence (AI), and ▲other technology-driven innovation (Deep Tech) are the primary targets for recruitment. This demonstrates Suwon City's strategic direction to foster advanced technology-based industries, upgrade the regional industrial structure, and secure future growth engines.

Interested companies can find detailed recruitment guidelines and application methods by searching for '2025 Suwon Business IR Day Suwon PANN' on the Suwon City website bulletin board. Through this program, Suwon City will spare no effort in providing full support to companies with innovative ideas and technological capabilities to successfully grow in Suwon and further emerge as leading companies representing South Korea.
