Stuttgart, Germany – Porsche has announced the start of pre-orders for the all-electric Macan, expanding its electric vehicle lineup. The new Macan is available in four variants: Macan, Macan 4, Macan 4S, and Macan Turbo.

Powered by a 100 kWh high-voltage battery, the electric Macan features a 210mm diameter, 200mm effective length rear axle motor. To enhance efficiency, the electric motor is equipped with a 480-ampere pulse inverter (PWR) using silicon carbide, a highly efficient semiconductor material.

The Macan 4S boasts a powerful 600-ampere silicon carbide pulse inverter and a larger 230mm diameter, 150mm effective length electric motor. It comes standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) electronic damper control. An adaptive air suspension with leveling system and height adjustment, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and rear-axle steering further optimize the chassis for both performance and comfort.

When activated in launch control, the Macan delivers 360 horsepower (265 kW), while the Macan 4S produces an impressive 516 horsepower (380 kW) of overboost power. The Macan and Macan 4S generate maximum torques of 57.4 kg·m and 83.6 kg·m, respectively. The Macan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, and the Macan 4S in 4.1 seconds. Top speeds are rated at 220 km/h and 240 km/h, respectively. The lighter Macan, weighing 110 kilograms less than the Macan 4, offers a range of 641 kilometers, while the Macan 4S has a range of 606 kilometers.

Both the Macan and Macan 4S achieve an optimized drag coefficient of 0.25. Thanks to the 800V architecture of the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), DC fast charging can deliver up to 270 kW of power. Using a fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 21 minutes.

Porsche has introduced a new color, Slate Grey Neo, for all Macan models, along with new 20-inch Macan S wheels. A new off-road design package is also available as an option for all Macan models.

Inside, the Macan features a 12.6-inch curved display instrument cluster, a 10.9-inch front passenger display, an augmented reality head-up display, and communication lights.

Prices for the Macan, Macan 4, Macan 4S, and Macan Turbo start at 99.1 million won, 105.9 million won, 114.4 million won, and 138.5 million won, respectively.
