Daejeon, South Korea – Daejeon City is holding an 'ACTIVE Integrity Festival' from September 1 to 26 to promote a culture of integrity and anti-corruption among its employees in the lead-up to the Chuseok holiday. The month-long event aims to instill a strong sense of integrity in all city officials.

The festival features a variety of engaging programs designed to encourage employee participation, including:

Integrity Practice Relay for Senior Officials: Mayor Lee Jang-woo kicked off this relay on September 8, demonstrating his strong commitment to integrity.
Live Integrity Performance and Case Study Education: An event combining a live performance with educational content on past corruption cases.
Integrity Roulette Event: A game-based activity to reinforce integrity principles.
Integrity Campaign: A broader campaign to raise awareness across the city government.
Mayor Lee Jang-woo emphasized the importance of the event, stating, "I hope this festival serves as an opportunity for public officials to once again engrave the value of integrity in their hearts and to practice transparent and responsible administrative communication." He added that the city will continue its efforts to ensure a culture of integrity naturally takes root throughout the organization.

Daejeon City plans to continue expanding its integrity-focused activities to build a fair and trustworthy public service.
