MAKASSAR, INDONESIA – Airport Dimensions, a global leader in airport experiences, has announced a significant expansion into the Indonesian market through a strategic 45% investment in Blue Sky Group. This partnership will immediately result in the opening of a new premium airport lounge at Makassar Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport later this year.

Blue Sky Lounge, already a prominent operator of lounges in key Indonesian airports such as Jakarta, Bali, and Surabaya, will add 11 more locations to Airport Dimensions' network. The collaboration will extend Airport Dimensions' presence to major hubs including Jakarta, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Batam, Bali, Pontianak, Palembang, Pekanbaru, and Surabaya.

Errol McGlothan, President EMEA and APAC at Airport Dimensions, highlighted Indonesia's dynamic market and rapid aviation growth, stating, "Indonesia represents an incredibly dynamic market, and we are thrilled to partner with Blue Sky Lounge to bring our global expertise to this rapidly growing aviation network." He emphasized the new Makassar lounge as a testament to their commitment to enhancing passenger experiences in the region.

The partnership aims to deliver tailored, high-quality lounge experiences that reflect local culture and environment. Linan Kurniahu, President of Blue Sky Group, noted the collaboration as a "significant milestone" in their 50-year hospitality journey, expressing hopes to improve travel experiences throughout Indonesia and expand their international reach.

This strategic move underscores Airport Dimensions' focus on capitalizing on the second-fastest growing aviation market in the world, promising to transform the airport lounge landscape in Indonesia.
