Seoul, South Korea – Kia has officially unveiled its highly anticipated first electric sedan, the EV4, and announced that contracts will begin on March 11th. This marks Kia's fourth dedicated electric vehicle model, following the successful launches of the EV6, EV9, and EV3.
Kia expects the EV4 to provide an expanded range of options for customers who value practicality, thanks to its innovative design and excellent product quality.
The EV4's sales prices, before electric vehicle tax benefits, are as follows:
Standard model: Starting from 41.92 million won
Long-range model: Starting from 46.29 million won
However, considering electric vehicle tax benefits and government and local government subsidies, the actual purchase prices are expected to be in the 34 million won range for the standard model and in the 38 million won range for the long-range model.
To alleviate the burden of purchasing and enhance vehicle value, Kia has launched the 'Multiple Care Program.' This program offers various benefits, including special interest rates, residual value guarantees, and battery life care solutions.
The EV4 is equipped with E-GMP and a 4th generation battery, allowing the long-range model to travel up to 533km on a single charge. This impressive range is one of the longest among Hyundai Motor Group's electric vehicles.
In addition, the EV4 is equipped with the Kia AI Assistant and innovative connectivity specifications, providing customers with a meaningful and convenient vehicle experience. Customers can enjoy various OTT services, games, and karaoke inside the vehicle by subscribing to the 'Streaming Premium' service at the Kia Connect Store.
Kia is offering the EV4 in eight exterior colors, including two new colors, Morning Haze and Magma Red, and four interior colors.
With its competitive pricing, advanced features, and long-range capabilities, the Kia EV4 is poised to make a significant impact on the electric vehicle market.
