An international student who came from the beautiful country of Tunisia to study in Korea visited Cherry Garden and had bulgogi. We shared various stories about Tunisia, and I was quite surprised. In particular, the story of Hédi Nouira, a politician who actively worked for Tunisia's modernization, was deeply moving.
A graduate of studies in France, he established banks and placed a strong emphasis on school education for Tunisia's modernization. Consequently, tuition from elementary school through middle school, high school, and university is fully supported by the state, raising the overall level of the citizenry. As a result, he even appears on Tunisian banknotes and is respected by the entire nation. It is truly admirable.
