Da-young Kim, Ga-hee Jeong, and Jin-mi Shin of the Busan Facilities Corporation women's handball team, who rescued a driver trapped in a car at the scene of a car rollover accident, received a certificate of appreciation from Busan City.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on October 11, Kim Da-young and others discovered a vehicle that had hit a guardrail and overturned on a road in Dong-myeon, Yangsan-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. They took safety measures by blocking the lane, quickly rescued the driver trapped in the accident vehicle, checked the driver's health, and left.

The rescued driver contacted the Busan Facilities Corporation directly and expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thanks to the players, my life was saved,” and “I wouldn’t have been here without them.”

Kim said, “I happened to see the scene while passing by near my accommodation, but I couldn’t pass it by. I feel very fortunate that I was able to safely rescue the driver from the scene of the rollover accident.”

Da-young Kim plays left back, Ga-hee Jeong plays left wing, and Jin-mi Shin plays center back.

Busan City awarded them a certificate of appreciation and delivered a bouquet of flowers at the City Hall Protocol Room at 5:30 pm on the 31st.
