Tottenham Edge Past Non-League Opponents in FA Cup Thriller

London, England – Tottenham Hotspur secured a hard-fought 3-0 victory over National League side Tamworth in the third round of the FA Cup, with captain Son Heung-min playing a crucial role.

The Premier League side struggled to break down their lower-league opponents throughout the 90 minutes, and it was only in extra time that Tottenham managed to find a breakthrough. Son, who came on as a substitute at the start of extra time, provided a crucial assist for Dejan Kulusevski's goal, his seventh assist of the season.

Tottenham's South Korean captain has been in impressive form this season, contributing significantly to the team's attacking play. His latest assist took his tally to 14 goal contributions (7 goals, 7 assists) across all competitions.

Despite fielding a weakened side, Tottenham found themselves in a tough battle against a Tamworth team composed mainly of part-time players. The National League side, currently sitting in 16th position in their league, put up a spirited performance and frustrated the Premier League outfit for much of the game.

Tottenham's victory sets up a fourth-round tie against another team to be determined.
