The '2026 Daejeon Job Fair,' jointly hosted by Daejeon City and IBK Corporate Bank, will be held on October 13 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Hall 1 of Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) Exhibition Hall 2.

This job fair is designed to revitalize employment matching between cutting-edge industry companies, prominent small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), public institutions in the Daejeon region and local talent, while promoting citizen employment through artificial intelligence (AI)-based smart job support.

At the fair site, a recruitment pavilion featuring over 60 local prominent companies will be operated, where 1:1 on-site interviews and recruitment consultations between job seekers and corporate recruiters will take place. Pre-registration is available until October 8 for hassle-free consultations without waiting. Online participating companies can also be found through the official website.

In addition, Daejeon-style specialized programs reflecting the latest employment trends will be operated to strengthen the practical employment capabilities of job seekers. The "Employment Success Matching Expedition" offers ways to make the most of the fair, ranging from an employment special lecture where participants can directly hear employment success know-how from top instructor "Interview King Lee Hyung," to booth and program matching tailored to the participant's desired job and industry of interest. Pre-registration is mandatory by October 2, though the lecture can also be attended on-site.

Various specialized lectures are prepared, including the "Public Institution Job Preparation Lecture" for job seekers preparing for public institution recruitment; the "Little Pro Talk Concert," a high school-focused program sharing the practical experiences of four incumbent workers; an "Employment Preparation Guide for Discharged (Upcoming) Soldiers" offering career roadmaps and support systems; and the "AI-Powered Job Preparation Lecture" teaching practical know-how on document and interview preparation using AI tools.

Job seekers can also receive diverse consultations, such as National Competency Standards (NCS)-based consulting for public institution and public enterprise job seekers, Daejeon-style JOB consulting for job seekers targeting Daejeon's core and future industries, and AI job preparation consulting. Furthermore, participants can receive direct practical experience and career advice from incumbent workers (14 individuals) by job category through the "Incumbent Coaching Chat."

Participatory events are also prepared, including the "Pass! Job Survival" (pre-registration required by October 2), a mock test simulating NCS and major corporate written exams to find the strongest candidate in practice, and the "Survival Golden Bell," where participants can compete in employment preparation trivia and win prizes.

The first 1,000 on-site attendees will receive the "Trend Job Guidebook Daejeon Edition," published in collaboration with Hackers, which contains analyses of 8 public institutions and strategic industries in Daejeon, employment strategies, and NCS mock exams.
