Operated on October 17 for a scale of 300 participants… Offering emotional experiences such as valley picnics and the ‘Water Light Photo Studio’

The Gangwon Tourism Organization (CEO Choi Sung-hyun, hereinafter referred to as the Organization) announced in a joint effort with Hongcheon-gun that the 2nd session of the ‘Yongso Water Light Trekking’ event will take place on October 17 (Saturday) at 10:00 AM around the Yongso Valley area in Naechon-myeon, Hongcheon-gun (798-2 Gwangam-ri).

The ‘Yongso Water Light Trekking’ is a healing walking event set against the backdrop of the outstanding natural scenery of Yongso Valley, which belongs to the 7 Scenic Wonders of Hongcheon. Following the 1st session held amidst lush spring scenery last May, this 2nd session has been prepared with unique sights showcasing autumn vibes.

This event is filled with various "emotional experiences" that go beyond simple walking to connect with nature. All participants will be provided with a "snack kit" so they can freely enjoy a picnic anywhere along the valley. At the turning point of the course, "Neoraebau," the ‘Yongso Water Light Photo Studio’ will operate, taking Polaroid commemorative photos for participants.

The participation fee for this event is 10,000 KRW. Among this, 5,000 KRW will be refunded to participants as ‘Hongcheon Love Gift Certificates,’ which can be used like cash at traditional markets and affiliated stores within Hongcheon-gun. The Organization plans to promote spending within the region by visitors and contribute to revitalizing the local economy of Hongcheon through this initiative.

Choi Sung-hyun, CEO of the Gangwon Tourism Organization, stated, “We hope that you will temporarily put down the fatigue of daily life amidst the magnificent scenery of Yongso Valley dressed in autumn clothes, and fully enjoy the time of healing given by nature,” adding, “We will continue to introduce attractive tourism products that visitors can remember for a long time through contents where people can enjoy the four seasons of Gangwon, which change moment by moment.”
