Twosome Place Increases Prices by Average 4.9%... 58 Items Including Coffee and Cakes Affected

On the 24th, Cafe Twosome Place announced that it will raise the prices of some products by an average of 4.9% starting from the 26th. The price increase applies to a total of 58 items, including 13 types of cakes, 23 types of coffee, and 22 types of beverages.

Key Items and Increase Rates:

Cakes: Average increase of 2,000 KRW (400 KRW increase for sliced cakes)Representative product 'Strawberry Chocolate Fresh Cream': 39,000 KRW (2,000 KRW increase)
Coffee (23 regular sizes): 200 KRW increaseAmericano: 4,700 KRW
Options such as shots and syrups: 300 KRW increase
Decaf option change: 200 KRW increase

Reasons for Price Increase:

Twosome Place stated, "Due to the continuous rise in exchange rates over the years and global climate changes, the prices of key raw materials such as coffee beans, cocoa, and dairy products have soared, making it impossible to bear the increased overhead costs any longer. The prices were adjusted in consultation with the franchisees, considering their cost burden."

Coffee Industry Price Increase Trend:

Prior to Twosome Place, other coffee franchises such as Starbucks, Paul Bassett, Pascucci, Dunkin', Compose Coffee, and The Venti have also recently raised their coffee prices.
